Science

Two cranes can lift the same load to the same height — they do identical amounts of work. But one takes 10 seconds and the other takes 10 minutes. In daily life, this difference matters enormously. Power measures how fast work gets done, and understanding it explains why steam engines replaced horses, why sports cars are rated in horsepower, and why your phone charger is labelled in watts.
